Jazmine Sullivan is an American singer songwriter and actress who has received critical acclaim from her first releases. She received nominations in a variety of categories, including Best New Artist, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance Best R&B song and Best Contemporary R&B Album in the 51st Grammy Awards. Jazmine was a student at the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts as the vocal music instructor graduating in 2005.
